Beckon Psychology

Here for you through the unique challenges that life has to offer

Everyone has a story to tell

Empowering yourself starts with understanding your personal history and confronting any challenges or obstacles you've faced. By acknowledging these experiences, you create space for healing and growth. When you feel safe and at peace within, you can open yourself to experiencing genuine joy and fulfillment. True empowerment comes from within, and it allows you to move forward with confidence and resilience.

Dr. Ellie Gipson’s Therapeutic Approach

Finding strength in your uniqueness can be difficult. Feeling othered, struggling with self-deprecating thoughts, and difficulties finding joy in your own skin can lead to difficulties in daily functioning. I am committed to supporting individuals in learning and working towards unique improvement. I have experience in several areas and built this practice to work with the unique challenges that life has to offer.

  • Welcome to my website!

I have been working in mental health services and practices since 2018. I was born and raised in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, and enjoy outdoor activities year-round. I played several sports growing up and love working with athletes to increase mental fortitude and confidence within their game. After receiving my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology I moved back home and completed my post-doctorate training in psychological testing and eating disorders. I got married in 2019 to my amazing husband who is both a firefighter and in the military. First responders and military spouse houses can be difficult places to navigate, and I can relate. In my free time, be in the kitchen creating new meals, read, play football with my husband, and spend time outdoors in the sun and with my husky.

  • Dr. Ellie Gipson is a licensed clinical psychologist. Additionally, she will be Psypact certified in 2025.

“A "PSYPACT certification" refers to an authorization granted by the Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) Commission, allowing licensed psychologists in participating states to practice telepsychology and sometimes temporary in-person practice across state lines, essentially meaning they can provide services to clients in other PSYPACT states without needing a separate license in each jurisdiction; to practice under PSYPACT, a psychologist needs to apply for and receive an "Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT)" from the PSYPACT Commission.”
